Karen + Eswar

"Watch Over Me"
by Bernard Fanning

When trouble fills my world
You bring me peace
You calm me down
You're my relief
When walls come crashing down around my feet
You light my way
You're my release

So say you'll watch over me
When I'm in too deep
Tell me you'll always be
There to pull me free

When the sun is beating down upon my brow
You are my shade
You cool me down
Every time I tried to turn away
You brought me 'round
Your humble way

So say you'll watch over me
When I'm in too deep
Tell me you'll always be
There to pull me free

Oh I love crossed culture wedding! Karen and Eswar's garden wedding at Max's Restaurant was nice and simple, which I really enjoyed shooting. A few white vintage chairs were set in the garden, with vineyard as background, and the couple exchanged their vows under a gumtree. Thanks to Karen and Eswar , it was my first time shooting at a vineyard, and first time seeing vine grapes (well, we normally only drink the end product).

Eswar and his fellow bestmen were so chillax, they had beers before the photo shoot. It was fun doing photo shoot with them. Karen is the smartest bride I have come across, because she and her bridesmaids wore sandals. Nope, no high heels at her wedding, which I think is a very smart thing to do.  It is your wedding, and you just need to be yourself, be comfortable, enjoy every single moment, and just chillax!

I love how this couple were so comfortable in front of camera. They hugged, kissed, chatted as if I were not there, which made the photo shoot so chillax haha! I love Karen's smile, she is just so beautiful. Lucky you, Eswar :)

Shooting at Max's restaurant was a pleasant experience. The staffs are so friendly, which made me felt very welcomed and respected. They offered me and my assistant drinks, a place to rest and even asked if we have eaten. Max's restaurant does not only offers the best view on the Peninsula, but the smiles of the staffs from front house to the kitchen really made my day.

Thank you so much Eswar and Karen for letting me to be part of your wedding. You guys are unbelievably easy going, which I really enjoyed working with. Congratulations again, on embarking a new journey! *wink wink*
